Glossary

The terms these docs use.

TermMeaning
Account idThe 20-byte key an account's balance lives under. A 0x… address is its own account id; a 0xPQ… address maps to one by a fixed hash. See Accounts.
ClearinghouseThe perpetuals engine. It holds all perps collateral in one protocol account and settles profit and loss between traders' records. See Perpetuals.
Epoch32 slots. Finality is tracked per epoch.
Exchange nonceA per-account counter for exchange transactions, separate from the account nonce used by EVM transactions.
Exchange transactionA JSON transaction for the native exchange and native tokens (orders, swaps, pools, perps, token operations), signed with an ML-DSA-65 key. See Exchange transactions.
FundingHourly payments between perpetual longs and shorts that keep the contract price close to the oracle price.
Mark priceThe price perps margin, liquidations and unrealized PnL use: a robust blend of the oracle price and the order book, held within ±5 % of the oracle.
ML-DSA-65The Module-Lattice Digital Signature Algorithm at security category 3, standardised by NIST in FIPS 204 (formerly CRYSTALS-Dilithium3). QRDX's post-quantum signature. Public keys are 1,952 bytes, signatures 3,309 bytes.
Native tokenA fungible token that is data in consensus (a registry entry plus balances), not a contract. Every native token is also an ERC-20 inside the EVM. See Native tokens.
Oracle priceThe stake-weighted median of the external prices validators vote on chain, used by perps.
PoolA concentrated-liquidity automated market maker for one pair at one fee tier.
0xPQ… addressA post-quantum account's address: 0xPQ and the first 32 bytes of keccak256 of its ML-DSA-65 public key, checksummed.
QRDX ConnectThe encrypted relay that lets a site reach QRDX Wallet on another device by QR code.
SlotTwo seconds. Each slot has one proposer; a slot may pass without a block.
TestnetThe public test network. Its tokens have no value.
Type 0x51 transactionAn EVM transaction signed with an ML-DSA-65 key (0x51 is ASCII Q). The sender is derived from the embedded public key.
