Status and roadmap
What runs today, what is being built, and what the whitepaper plans.
QRDX is in public testnet. This page is the honest state of things; the whitepaper describes the full design.
Live on testnet
| Area | What works |
|---|---|
| Consensus | proof of stake with ML-DSA-65 validators, 2-second slots, epoch finality, staking deposits and exits, slashing |
| Accounts | classic and post-quantum accounts in one ledger; type-0x51 post-quantum EVM transactions |
| EVM | contracts, logs, Ethereum JSON-RPC; native tokens as ERC-20/ERC-777, NFT collections as ERC-721 |
| Native tokens | deploy, mint, burn, transfer, allowances, authorities, freezing, Token-2022-style extensions, NFTs |
| Spot | order books and concentrated-liquidity pools for any pair, including native QRDX; best-venue swaps |
| Perpetuals | zero-sum clearinghouse, cross and isolated margin, mark price, validator-voted oracle, funding, liquidations, backstop vault |
| Data | market data, transaction index, WebSocket and SSE streams |
| Apps | QRDX Wallet (extension, web, iPhone), QRDX Trade, QRDX Explorer, profiles, QRDX Connect |
Next
- Security audits of the node, the wallet and the exchange, then mainnet launch.
- Bridged stablecoin as perps collateral on mainnet (testnet uses native QRDX).
- Registered chain ids. Testnet's chain id may change before mainnet; read it from the node.
Planned (whitepaper)
These are designs, not features you can use yet:
- Bridges and asset shielding: moving assets such as ETH and BTC onto QRDX as post-quantum-protected tokens, and back. A bridged asset will be a native token whose mint authority is the bridge.
- The Doomsday protocol: a circuit breaker that would stop classic-to-quantum bridging if a quantum computer demonstrably breaks ECDSA, while still letting users bring shielded assets back.
- Governance of protocol parameters.
- Post-quantum multisig wallets and wider chain adapters.
When these ship, these docs will document them.
